Berardelli's Bulletin

I am Paul J. Berardelli, Principal of Delsea Regional High School. I have been in the field of Education for twenty years and all of them have been at Delsea Regional High School. I started my career by teaching Special Education classes for five years. While teaching, I was fortunate enough to be able to coach both football and track; these invaluable experiences are ones that I have never forgotten. In 1999, I was hired as Vice Principal, a position I held for twelve years, which led me to the position I currently hold.

I am humbled and honored to be serving Delsea Regional High School as its principal – a position I consider to be a privilege. My staff and I will continue to provide a comprehensive and thorough education in a climate that is conducive to the academic success of all of our students.

Here at Delsea, we have the highest expectations for perpetual student growth. The Delsea Regional High School students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being are at the forefront of every decision we make.

We have so much to be proud of as a staff, a Delsea family, and a community. GO BIG RED!

DRHS SECURITY

DRHS Security Plan
In light of the recent tragedy in Connecticut, please know that Delsea HIGH School institutes numerous security measures on a daily basis to ensure the safety of all. These measures include the following:
  • One entrance access
  • All doors are locked
  • Buzzer Entry/Screening System
  • Security Cameras throughout the inside and outside of the building
  • School Security Drills practiced with students and staff on a continual basis
  • Anonymous reporting available for staff and students via  website comments
  • OLWEUS Program stressing and communicating to students the need to report
Please know that we will continue to institute such and incorporate additional measures as deemed necessary to ensure that all who enter our building feel safe and comfortable at all times. Parents who are picking-up their child must present a valid form of identification to ensure safety of all.
Happy Holidays
During this holiday season, please keep the families and children of the Newtown tragedy in your prayers.
In the midst of these very unsettling times for all families, we want to reassure our DRHS community that
safety continues to be a very high priority.  Furthermore, if there is anything that we can do to make our
campus safer, we will adopt those procedures. Have a wonderful holiday!
